Dr. Joshua A. Pagán is the founding instructor of The Institute for Intellectual Formation & Skeptical Inquiry (Fort Wayne, IN). Prior to his current profession, he served our nation as a member of the U.S. Army Special Operations Forces (1995-2000). As an undergraduate, Josh studied philosophy at Purdue University; his graduate education was completed in theology at Concordia Theological Seminary (M.Div., 2008; Ph.D., summa cum laude, 2011). During his doctoral program, he researched problems at the intersection of science and religion at Princeton Theological Seminary (2009-11). In addition to his work at the Institute, he is also an adjunct professor and the Executive Director of Aboite Lutheran Church. He is a member of various professional societies and the author of several publications, including Paul and the Resurrection: Testing the Apostolic Testimony (2020). He and his wife, Lori, currently reside in Fort Wayne, IN.
