Call For Papers - Correction

The dates on the most recent announcement incorrectly listed 2012. The conference is April 5th-6th, 2013. The paper submission deadline is February 15, 2013.

Call for papers 2013

Dear Members,

We are very excited about the upcoming conference on April 5th-6th, 2012 at The Hope Center in Plano, TX.

We invite all members, and prospective members, to submit paper proposals for this year’s conference. Presenters are encouraged to consider topics pertaining to our theme, The Historic Adam. The conference is not limited to dealing with this alone. Paper proposals may be accepted from areas within philosophy, theology, biblical studies, ethics, comparative religions, science and history.

The minimum requirements for presenters are:

  1. They must have paid their due's for the conference.
  2. They must have a Master's degree to present a paper. Or, they must co-present a paper with a person that has a Master's degree or higher.
  3. They must submit prior to their paper being accepted:
    1) A clear thesis statement; 2) Title of the paper; 3) Abstract for the paper.
  4. The paper topic should be relevant to the topic that year, unless approved otherwise.

All paper proposals should be submitted to Bill Roach <roawil@gmail.com> no later than February 15, 2012. Please include your title, 100-200 word abstract, list of earned degrees, and membership status.

Please note that all presenters will need to register for the conference and either renew their annual fees or join the society if not already a member.  Information for paying membership dues can be found on the front page of our website (www.isca-apologetics.org).

8th Annual ISCA Conference

 8th Annual ISCA Conference

We are excited to announce that our 8th annual ISCA Conference will be April 5-6, 2013 in Plano, Texas at "The Hope Center" (www.thehopecenter.org).

The Creation of Adam

Our theme this year is: "The Historic Adam." We are accepting papers on this topic and other topics. There will be plenary sessions and workshops.

We have a negotiated group rate of $79 with breakfast for either a King of Double Queen room at: Hilton Garden Inn, 1001 W. President George Bush Turnpike, Richardson, TX 75080 (972-792-9393). The hotel is within a mile of the conference center and offers free shuttle transportation. You must call and reserve a room on or before March 14, 2013 and ask for the block code ISA.

Breakfast and lunch is available at The Hope Center. Dinner is available at dozens of nearby restaurants and at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Start making plans now to attend the ISCA Conference Friday and Saturday (April 5-6, 2013).

We are excited to announce that our 8th annual ISCA Conference will be April 5-6, 2013 in Dallas. Our theme this year will be "The Historic Adam." We will be looking for papers on this topic or other topics you would like to present. Please save these dates on your calendar and plan to attend.

We are very excited about the upcoming meeting on April 13th-14th, 2012 at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO.

We invite all members, and prospective members, to submit paper proposals for this year’s conference. Although presenters are encouraged to consider topics pertaining to our theme, Is Man Created in the Image of God?. The conference is not limited to dealing with this alone. Paper proposals will also be accepted from areas within philosophy, theology, biblical studies, ethics, comparative religions, science and history.
