Paper submission deadline for 2018 conference

Greetings ISCA Members,

We know everyone is in the midst of a busy time of year with the fall semester ending, Christmas a week away, New Year’s right around the corner, and then the start of the spring semester. We want to let you know that there is a new submission deadline for paper proposals for the 2018 ISCA Conference. The new submission date is January 12, 2018.

The theme of this year’s conference is “The Centrality of Christ in Apologetics.” You are welcome to submit a proposal related to the conference’s theme. However, your submission can relate to other areas of apologetics as well. Please send all submissions to Bill Roach at roawil@gmail.com.

Remember this year’s conference is at Southern Evangelical Seminary in Matthews, North Carolina. We have two outstanding plenary speakers lined up for the conference: Michael Kruger and Michael Brown. We look forward to seeing you April 6th and 7th .

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Contributions to the next newsletter

Dear ISCA Member,

I am putting together the next edition of our ISCA newsletter. It will again have FAQ details about the ISCA conference coming this March. In addition to conference information, I would love to have from our ISCA members any of the following information (similar to our last newsletter) to include it in this next newsletter. Just send it to richard@richardghowe.com:

  • Any information about your upcoming speaking engagements
  • Any information about your recent or upcoming publications (books, papers, blogs, etc.)
  • Entries for the “What’s On Your Nightstand?” sidebar letting your fellow apologists know what you’re currently reading or have recently read. I’d like to include one or two items from a number of our members. It’s a good way for us to discover new resources.
  • For additional events that fall outside the first bullet point, if you know of any apologetic events (conferences, special speakers, debates, interviews) either live or on the internet, I’d like to let our members know in case they’d like to be enriched with the ministry of others.

Blessings,
Richard
